Welcome and Come On In!  Pennsylvania artists Robin Ross & The Melodynes has released their debut LP 'Come On In', a celebration of classic golden-era rock infused with a contemporary twist. This collaboration offer twelve original compositions, co-authored and recorded over several months in 2024. With a healthy mix of rock and ballads, they have also created videos for 'Thinkin Bout Love' and 'All I Want (is a lover)' and 'Just Get Down'.

 

Come On In is more than an album; it takes the listeners on a compelling sonic journey that transcends musical boundaries.  Each track is designed to move you, gently or powerfully to elevate your personal vibration well-being.

Recorded at Baa Baa Leaf Music Studios in Milford, this album was produced and engineered by Robin Ross with Jonathan Duckett (Phillip Glass, Kenny G, David Sanborn) serving as supervising engineer. Ross is joined on this album by the extended musical family of Wharton Tiers on drums; Joellen (JoJo) Gaetani as co-writer and lead vocals; Joe Torres on bass; and Katlyn Albrecht on percussion and vocals.

Come On In is more than an album; it takes the listeners on a compelling sonic journey that transcends musical boundaries.  Each track is designed to move you, gently or powerfully to elevate your personal vibration well-being.

Rooted in the vibrant music scenes of New Jersey and New York since 1988, Robin Ross has carved out a dynamic career as a musician, songwriter, and producer. Now based in Milford, Pennsylvania, he’s a driving force in the local arts community and the founder of BaaBaa Leaf Music Studio in the Pocono Mountains.

Robin has released five albums, is an experienced audio engineer, served in the U.S. military, and built several recording studios—including Triple R Studios and Sound Complex near NYC. His technical expertise and creative vision continues to shape countless projects and collaborations.

In the early ’90s, Robin co-founded Laughing Jack, later known as Jack’s Maze, a progressive rock band praised for its sonic echoes of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.

Fast forward to 2021 and current: Robin reignited his artistic fire with new ventures like Robin Ross & The Melodynes, a retro-modern rock fusion featuring Wharton Tiers, Joellen (JoJo) Gaetani, Joe Torres, and Katlyn Albrecht. He also reunited with Jack’s Maze members Frank Cinquegrana, Scott Cowan, and Joe Torres to release Life In The Maze in 2024—a testament to enduring creativity and friendship.

Robin’s passion lies in the magic of music-making and the connections it sparks. With a genre-defying style and a soul steeped in rock and roll, he continues to inspire and move audiences through heartfelt storytelling and unforgettable melodies. With new albums on the horizon, his musical journey is far from over-stay tuned for what’s next.


The ‘Come On In’ LP is out now on CD, which is available via the artist’s website, and also digitally from such platforms as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon and Bandcamp.

Thunder and Lighting for a storm coming. You better get down! Have a party and Just Get Down tonight. An energetic song with B52’s and Guns N Roses vibe.

Robin set out to make this song as simple as possible. Such a riff can easily be picked off and played by any level guitarist with hope it inspires new guitarists much like the legendary riff from “Smoke On The Water” by Deep Purple.

The powerful riff combined a straightforward bass from Joe Torres and solid drums from Wharton Tiers to give it an AC/DC vibe. Power vocals by JoEllen Gaetani compliment the hard rocking style we have known for decades from great bands of the 1980’s and 1990’2.

It’s a balls to the walls the whole way through with 4 guitar solos!

We wrote about an ominous forebode with the devil coming into town and the headwinds it brings with thunder and lightning to discover it’s just a party and all the rounds are free…..So it’s time to Just Get Down!
